Issues with the supplier of the solid-state power amplifiers have not been satisfactorily resolved. NSF relaxes production schedule in order to deploy existing 32 panels in Poker Flat, Alaska, and to address manufacturing issues. This quarter of the face is expected to be under test at Poker Flat by end of September.

Four seconds of heater-induced plasma line measurements. The HF heater was turned on at 1 sec time on the x-axis with a heating frequency of 5.35 MHz. This plot shows the plasma line overshoot effect on both the decay mode and at least six cascade mode lines.

Thirty minutes of Equatorial Electro-jet power measurements in nine simultaneous directions (vertical in the center and 20 degrees from vertical in the NW, N, NE, W, E, SW, S, and SE directions). Only the three middle panels are perpendicular to B, demonstrating the magnetic aspect sensitivity of the backscatter.
